Colorful Unicorn Themed Room Design For Girls

Me and my six year old daughter are closing on a new house next week and are incredibly excited to be able to make it really special, and all our own! We don’t move until late July, so we’re hoping we’ve got a bit of time to get it ready before we move. We will likely consider some other projects down the road as well.

Do you have a preference for either paint or wall covering, or are you open to both?:
Priority 2: Daughter’s bedroom. She is 6 and she loves unicorns and rainbows! She is most excited for a loft or bunk bed and a desk. We love color! And we want to make this space really fun for her, while keeping in mind, we want it to be able to grow with her as she gets older. For this reason, it probably makes sense to have a bunk/loft option with a full bed below it. I’ve seen some really cute things done with decals/stickers on the walls. She likes the idea of an accent wall. The space is very large, but also a unique space. The closet leaves much to be desired

Since your room gets plenty of sunlight your color options are quite broad.
For your main color, we chose to use blue because it is calming, relaxing, and serene. It ris reminiscent of blue skies and deep blue oceans. This color works well in bedrooms and can help turn your space into a soothing sanctuary.
Use an eggshell finish paint which has a very light touch of shine (similar texture to an eggshell as implied by its name). This finish is very often used for walls and is more durable and easier to clean than matte finish.
