Nothing, but its large size (255 inches wide x 192 inches deep) makes it difficult to furnish and decorate in a way that really has "wow" factor but still keeps it transitional, timeless, and luxurious looking. The house is an all-brick Georgian style manor so I'm trying not to go too modern/contemporary with how it is decorated and furnished. At the same time, I don't want it to look too stuffy and overly formal, either. Hence transitional styles seem to appeal the most to me. I generally prefer a neutral to slightly more feminine look than masculine, but again my aim is to achieve something that oozes luxury and looks timeless. The room gets a lot of mid-day and late afternoon sunlight but is pretty well lit throughout the day thanks to 3 huge windows, unless it's cloudy outside which happens often as I live in a pretty Northern climate.

I would like to keep the two huge carved wall mirrors (they are made of unfinished wood) and the two marble-top black Regency chests in front of those mirrors. I also wouldn't mind keeping my existing area rugs (a zebra patterned cowhide atop a sisal rug w/black border) if you feel like those would work best with your proposed designs, but I am definitely more than willing to replace them, too, to achieve the perfect look. I love our existing marble fireplace and chandelier but am willing to replace the chandelier, too, if that also helps achieve a more high impact and perfect overall look. Finally, I like the two black horns displayed on the fireplace mantle as well as the framed wall art above the fireplace, too, so I’m leaning towards keeping them unless you find something that you think would look better with your overall design (in which case I’m open to changing).

For reference: each of the black Regency chests measures 45"W x 19"D x 34"H. The black border sisal rug on the floor in the second picture (if you choose to keep this/incorporate it into your design) measures 9ft x 12ft.

The walls are currently painted Sherwin Williams “Repose Gray” while the wainscot is painted Sherwin Williams Martha Stewart Collection “Glass of Milk.”
