Since your room gets little sunlight a warm or rich color will make the room look more luminous

For your main color, we chose to use white/off-white as it offers a fresh, clean, feel to the space. For your secondary color, we chose to use brown as it reminds us of nature and has a relaxing quality that is easy on the eye. Darker browns work well as accent colors and lighter hues like tan and beige can match and unify most rooms. For your accent color, we chose to use green because it is soothing to the eye. It reminds us of nature and has a refreshing, stress-relieving quality. Green is suitable for any room. In bedrooms, it’s relaxing and pleasing, while in dining rooms it promotes overall balance and health. This soothing color encourages relaxation or tranquility but has enough warmth to encourage comfort and harmony.

Use a satin finish paint which has a bit more gloss than eggshell finish and is a little smoother. This finish is often used for windows, doors, trim, and ceilings, but can also be ideal walls in kids’ rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and other high-traffic areas because it is easier to clean than eggshell finish.
