Over centuries, the plinth has been a much mused-over object. With this project, Danish studio Norm Architects set out to rethink the uses of the plinth and to reveal the natural beauty of marble. This piece is an abstract watercolor painting that was part of an experiment with layering and blending blues and greens. My inspiration comes from my love for the ocean and the smells, sounds and sights of the beautiful sea. The movement in this piece draws you in and makes you feel as if you are under water trying to swim up to the surface.

This piece is inspired by the beautiful colors of the Caribbean landscape. Whenever I visit the Caribbean I experience a bit of a mental shift - a calming of mind and body. My goal was to represent this shift in a simple abstract composition. I hope you enjoy!

I find beauty and inspiration in the juxtaposition between the natural world and urban landscape. In this series, I have focused on capturing images that blur the elements of a scene, creating a focus on the colors and the movement of the light. This abstraction allows for an interpretational view of photographic landscapes and hopes to elevate pedestrian scenes by concentrating on the vibration of color and light. This is a photograph from a set taken during a drive, where I attempted to capture the difference between the electric lights along the highway and the natural light of the sky and fading sun.
